Racism and why it's still around

Honestly, i don't think race should matter at all. Racism is kept alive in the U.S. because nobody wants to let it go. Blacks constantly claim racism, which in some cases it is right to be called, but never give whites a chance, a true chance to be part of the ebonic culture as a whole. And whites get upset at the fact that they are being called a racist, even though some are, when they aren't, build a distaste for African Americans because they are being labeled as a racist. (all it takes is one bad experience to change a person's mindset forever) You excuse someone of being something they aren't they're going to get pretty mad. If blacks, not all blacks but the ones who do go off, claiming every mishap a case of racism would just chill out things would calm down. And if whites who are racist would just be ignored, because most are back woods fools who only cause minor problems and no one is being killed anymore, they would probably chill out too, causing racism to decline immensely. It's all a game of pride and no one wants to be the bigger person and try to change things (then again it seems if you try to be an agent of unity, you get shot. Legalization of Cannibus

In this post, I will review both the pros and the cons of this subject in a just and un-bias manner. This post is not a reflection of my personal life choices or my moral standing, it is a matter of fact and of common sense. As this can be such a vast and vague topic, issues will be addressed in a "straight forward" manner one by one.

First of all, let us define what Cannibus is exactly. Cannibus is not a synthetic drug. It is not chemically altered in any way other than increasing its enternally manufactured chemical, THC, potency. Cannibus is a plant grown from the seeds the plant produces itself. (and for christians reading this let us not forget genesis 1:29 "Then god said, 'Look! I have given you every seed bearing plant throughout the earth and all the fruit trees for your food'"). What is more about Cannibus is what its plant classification is, its classified as a herb, which is basically defined as A KITCHEN COOKING ACCESORY! ( exact definition: Any of various often aromatic plants used especially in medicine or as seasoning.) Now that this is clarified, assuming we also know what the affects of THC are on the brain (if not please research further using a medical dictionary) let us dig deeper in the topic of this blog.

Health risks and affects of Cannibus:
Cannibus is not an addictive substance. Over long periods of heavy use it can alter brain chemicals, though, then again so can any drug, including minor legal drugs, such as caffine, nicotine, and alcohol. This is proved in the definition of a drug, a drug is any substance that is mind altering. The way the mind is altered is by manipulating the chemical make up in the brain. Of course over long periods of time ANY drug will alter the chemical make up of the brain, example: people contracting head aches when intaking low or no amounts of caffine when it is used as part of the regular diet, risk of any drug is at the responsibility of its user what the after affects are. Although it can cause a change in chemical make up, Cannibus does not destroy the brain, nor does it destroy any organ in the body. (keeping in mind alcohol destoys the liver, kidnies, and can kill you on spot if one were to drink too much at one time, and cigarettes destroying the lungs and causing cancer (F.Y.I. people who smoke cannibus and cigarettes are least likely to get cancer rather than an indivual who smokes only cigarettes)). Smoking Cannibus does, however, leave nasty tar deposits in the lungs, BUT with the invention of a vaporizer and ingesting it by eating, even this can be avoided, making Cannibus virtually harmless. The positive side affects, just to name a few, of Cannibus are that it can relieve severe pain, head aches, and anxiety in some indivuals. Negative side affects of Cannibus, naming all of them, are that it increases heart rate, can caused increased anxiety, and can cause paranoia. This is justified in the sense that Cannibus is not for every one, in the same sense that cigarettes aren't for everybody, alcohol isn't for everybody, cocaine isn't for everybody, etc. Once again use is at the responsibility of the user. Using Cannibus DOES NOT influence laziness, this is inconclusive, the individual is lazy and uses the drug as an excuse. Weight gain is a side effect of an increase in appetite, which isn't bad for some people, this is about as conclusive as people who drink recieve a "beer belly" due to an increase in the craving of greasy foods.

Financial Reperocussions :
This is adressed and ended very quickly. Billions, hundreds of billions of dollars a year being spent fighting the drug will be made by state and federal government, seeing as how the plant grows best in southern U.S.A. The amount of money that can be made is an unimaginable amount, not to mention the money that is made will also be money taken out of illegal drug cartel's financial income. Maybe this, along with a highly enjoyable drug that does not destroy ones health now legalized, will decrease street drug sales, crime, and black market shipping of dangerous synthetic drugs( cocaine, heroin, etc.).

Control of the Drug Cannibus:
With legalization there will still have to be an element of control so Federal and State governments make their much needed profit off of the drug. The government can grow and distribute it to the retail market. Which will also create thousands of new government jobs for the people of America. Cannibus can be grown personally, but in order to do so, a grower's permit must be issued for a fee of $12,000 annually. Seeing as how most growers will be interested in the retail market, whether it be on a large or small scale. At this point the only way the drug can be accessed is through the United States goverment. All persons dealing with the drug are to be drug tested upon employment, including franchised retail market, and randomly drug tested at the discretion of Federal or State government. Those who contain any substance in his or her system, excluding THC and other legal drugs, are sent to jail for conspiracy. This will keep the black market out of white market sales of Cannibus. It will be patroled the same way it is patroled now, except for the following:

1. You can possess it
2. You can use it in your home or on your property
3. You can use it at a place designated for use of Cannibus (Hemp bars)

Using it in public will be prohibited, as well as person to person selling. Age restrictions should be installed as well, 21 and older would be the wisest age restriction. This will put Cannibus on the same level as alcohol as far as limitations of use are concerned.

Cannibus is a Gateway Drug:
Wrong. Cannibus is the most widely used product on the black market. The number one goal of a black market distributor, as well as any businessman on the white market, is to make as much money as possible. Seeing as there are no age restrictions on the black market and Cannbius users usually start in early teen years, why wouldn't a black market distributor offer a more destructive, addictive, and profitable substance to an impressionable teenager? Especially one who has been a loyal customer. Taking Cannibus off the black market and putting it on the white market will take the influence of other drugs away from Cannibus, and eliminate a possible synthetic drug usage increase in the future generations.

The Governments job: Def*

This is my personal definition, but I believe the job of a government official a.k.a politician is to take care of the country or state in which he or she has been assigned to govern, not the individual, BUT if the country or state is being governed correctly and effectively then the individual with have a better environment to live in with more opportunities available. Thus the individual will flourish. We as people are only as good as the environment we are in.

Religion.

Christianity, basis, what the individual is doing RIGHT and what the individual is doing WRONG. Mainly focuses on what the individual is doing wrong. Such is the main belief also of American military services. Christians focus on the actions of the individual in comparison to the specific actions god wants them to do. Which is why most American people are so, to say the least, judgemental. They focus on what people around them are doing rather than what he or she is doing personally because he or she feels that it is a service to the Christian god, yet this is a contradiction to the religion itself, seeing as how the bible states one should not judge another. The only way to decipher what and individual is doing right or wrong is to judge him or her. This makes no sense. Also in saying that the world started out with Adam and Eve leads me to believe the world is created in incest, which is a very ridiculed idea, by Christians especially, seeing on how the entire religion is based on judgement. What is more so is that the bible is a very vague book. This leaves space for the reader to think, create his or own ideas using this GUIDE LINE, not rule book, on how to live life. Preachers, spare the public your personal politics gathered in your readings. And those that live by the word of the preacher, what he or she says is not the word of god, it is a person speaking out his or her point of view in what the bible says to him or her. With the bible being written so vague, it leaves room for thought (the purpose of good art, yes literature is art, is to inspire thought) don't take it so literally. The purpose of a religion is to enlighten and individual in a spiritual sense, not to give one person more power over another. A person whom intakes true wisdom should know this. And wisdom of life is through living life in a variety of ways. Not just one.

Buddhism and Hinduism seem to be more focused on the basis of universal knowledge of life and how harmony in the world, as well as the universe, work. In return for such knowledge to a certain extreme, the individual is able to obtain nirvana, the perfect peace of the state of mind that is free from craving, anger and other afflictive states of mind, freedom, simply put. This provides a sense of enlightment of amazing proportion. These two religions are highly ridiculed by many, but those who ridicule such religion with such a basis deserve pity, for no one should miss out on universal knowledge and nirvana. (not to be confused with heaven which is something entirely different, more a state of mind that varies from person to person) These two religions do have some hard to believe concepts, such as buddha communicating with inanimatble objects and some very odd looking hindu gods, but the true potential of the human concious has never been tapped fully, as in referance to a god like status, and by the theory of evolution there is no telling what humans of acient time could have looked like, especially god like beings (fossils are limited too, keep in mind, so bones or what not may not be on this earth to access of these gods, plus information released to the public is limited in a world where captilism and currency rules). These religions create a culutral difference in the sense of its people are more humble and understanding in life, and more of a work ethic in the field of study.

The points that are brought up in this "blog" are only few of many, and the purpose is only a simple comparsion. If this were an in depth debate or anything more than a ten minute read, it would be a book. So please spare me your criticism. But concerns are always open, and before any such comments are made look up the definition of criticism and the definition of concern.
