Racism and why it's still around

Honestly, i don't think race should matter at all. Racism is kept alive in the U.S. because nobody wants to let it go. Blacks constantly claim racism, which in some cases it is right to be called, but never give whites a chance, a true chance to be part of the ebonic culture as a whole. And whites get upset at the fact that they are being called a racist, even though some are, when they aren't, build a distaste for African Americans because they are being labeled as a racist. (all it takes is one bad experience to change a person's mindset forever) You excuse someone of being something they aren't they're going to get pretty mad. If blacks, not all blacks but the ones who do go off, claiming every mishap a case of racism would just chill out things would calm down. And if whites who are racist would just be ignored, because most are back woods fools who only cause minor problems and no one is being killed anymore, they would probably chill out too, causing racism to decline immensely. It's all a game of pride and no one wants to be the bigger person and try to change things (then again it seems if you try to be an agent of unity, you get shot. RIP Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. RIP John Lennon)
